SAR members are encouraged to submit their military service records to the NSSAR archive using this form.

SAR members can reference this Veterans Guide produced by the U.S. Government

that details the eligible combat campaigns and expeditions of the Armed Forces since WW II.

The National Personnel Records Center (NPRC) now has a website for veterans and their families to gain access to their Military Service Records including their DD-214's online. This may be particularly helpful when a veteran needs a copy of his DD-214 for employment, veteran benefits or genealogy purposes.
